1.) Who wrote this letter and to whom was it written?

Paul wrote this letter to the church in Corinth.

2.) Did the church of Christ in Corinth lack any spiritual gifts?

They lacked no spiritual gifts.

3.) Paul appealed to the Corinthians that they be what?

To not have divisions but to remain unified.

4.) What divisions were occurring in Corinth?

They were having petty divisions on who they were following or who baptized them.

5.) Whose name should we all be united under?

We are all united in Christ Jesus.

6.) To God, the wisdom of this world is what?

The wisdom of this world is foolishness.

7.) If we boast what should we boast about?

We should boast about our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ.

8.) How did Paul deliver his message to the Corinthians?

With a demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit.

9.) What secret thing of God do we speak with?

We speak with the secret wisdom of God.

10.) The things that come from the Spirit are what to a worldly man?

They are foolish to a worldly man.

11.) Our minds should be aligned with who?

We have the mind of Christ.

12.) When Paul first went to the Corinthians how grown up were they in Christ?

They were just newborn babes in Christ. Spiritually immature.

13.) What does it mean that Paul gave them "milk not meat"?

They only received the basics of Christianity instead of the deeper truths.

14.) Again, what were the Corinthians quarreling about?

They were bragging about which teacher brought them to Christ.

15.) What did Paul say that he and Apollos merely were?

Servants of Jesus.

16.) What does God do to the seed that is planted and watered?

God makes it grow.

17.) Who is the foundation of the building?

Jesus Christ, the cornerstone and the apostles. Eph. 2:20.

18.) With what will our work be tested and what does this mean?

It will be tested against fire or persecution of this world to see if it will stand.

19.) Our bodies are like what?

They are the temple in which the Holy Spirit of God resides.

20.) The wisdom of this world is what to God?

The wisdom of this world is foolishness to God.

21.) So again, if we boast it should not be in men but in who?

We boast in Jesus Christ our Lord!!!!!!
