John 5

1.) Where did Jesus go?

He went to Jerusalem for a feast?

2.) How long had the man been ill and what did Jesus ask him?

He had been an invalid for 38 years and Jesus asked him if he wanted to get well?

3.) What was the man's complaint?

I have no one to help me get into the pool.

4.) What did Jesus tell him to do?

Get up, pick up your mat and walk.

5.) What did the Pharisees complain about?

That the man was carrying his mat on the Sabbath.

6.) For what reasons did the Jews want to kill Jesus?

They perceived He was breaking the Sabbath and He was making Himself equal with God by saying that He was God's son.

7.) If you don't believe in the Son you cannot have access to who?

If you don't accept the Son you don't have access to the Father.

8.) Who will be judged first, the good or evil or is it at the same time?

In verse 29 Jesus says that all will be judged at the same time.

9.) What did Jesus compare John to?

A lamp that shone brightly.

10.) Jesus told them they should believe the testimony of who?

The Holy Spirit, the Father and the Scriptures all testify that Jesus was the Messiah.
