  1. Who is Immanuel and what does it mean?
    Probably in the immediate context, Isaiah's son in chapter 8 but it definitely foreshadows Jesus. It means God with us!
  2. What would happen before the child new to refuse evil and choose good?
    Syria and Ephraim would be deserted
  3. Why do they eat curds and honey?
    All that's left to eat because the land will be deserted and not produce for them. Survival food.

    The Lord of Hosts

    mediums and necromancers that try to summon the dead.

    He will be from Galilee and this could be the reference that He would be a Nazarene.

    The government. All authority is given to Him.

    They were arrogant thinking they did it themselves.

    7: the Lord, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and fear of the Lord
  2. What do the animals represent?
    The peace that comes through Jesus Christ. The reversal of the curse in the garden.
