    Probably well over 5000. 12 baskets full, one for each disciple.

    Peter. He took his eyes off of Jesus.
Matthew 15

    Jesus said the Pharisees cared more about their rules and traditions than obeying God, especially when it came to loving and caring for others. Their worship was in vain.

    A person is defiled by what comes out of their mouth—evil thoughts, words, and attitudes—because they come from the heart.
  3. What did the woman want Jesus to do for her? Why was it done?
    The woman asked Jesus to heal her demon-possessed daughter. Jesus healed her daughter because of her great faith.

    Jesus fed 4,000 men, plus women and children. He started with seven loaves and a few small fish, and seven baskets of leftovers were collected.

    Jesus warned His disciples to beware of the teaching (doctrine) of the Pharisees and Sadducees, which focused on hypocrisy and false understanding rather than truth.

    The church would be built on the truth of Peter's confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
  3. What does Jesus mean when He says the gates of hell will not prevail?
    Jesus means that death, sin, and Satan will not overpower His church. Those grounded in Christ have victory and security through Him.
  4. Why did Jesus rebuke Peter by calling him Satan?
    Peter was trying to stop Jesus from suffering and dying, opposing God's plan of salvation
  5. What does Jesus teach about following Him as a disciple?
    Following Jesus requires self-denial, taking up one's cross, and putting Christ above personal desires.
