Isaiah 1

    During the reigns of Judean kings, Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah

    Even the ox and the donkey respond appropriately to their caregiver, but Judah did not.

    no, he was tired of their hyprocrisy

    If they are obedient and learn to do good. Also a foreshadowing to being washed by the blood of Jesus.

    Most likely a reference to the church, the rock cut out without hands that grew in to a mountain in Daniel 2

    Anything that people will think will hide them from God.
Isaiah 3

    Degradation of their society. Loss of honor and moral values, godliness and righteousness.

    Exploited and plundered the people.

    The Messiah, Jesus Christ

    The results (harvest) coming from the Branch.

    Judgement identifies and condemns sin and burning removes sin and refines the person.

    Lead and protect them

    God's protection possibly the Spirit or the church.

    God
  2. Who is the vineyard?
    Israel and Judah, God's people

    They will be stricken. Taken into captivity.
Isaiah 6

    Unclean lips represent imperfection in speech, thought, and action, a recognition that he is morally and spiritually inadequate before a holy God.

    He was refined and his uncleanliness removed so he could be a spokesman for God.
